Just another ink drawing I did last night. My brush is resting on a box & I forgot to rinse it out. A little heavy, but hope you enjoy!

What a mess! Very well captured, something we all have done in one way or another [the mess that is LOL].

i always forget to rinse them out - very fine image, mark (for some reason messy things and decay make very fine images)

OH It is gorgeous Mark and you know I love your brushes. I wait that it will roll over any moment, but it depence if the dry ink has glued it to the table, doesnt it? Yeah I am silly LOL ! Wonderful drawing. FAV !

Mark what a warm and creative way to show what happened. You really did a splendid job on it and truly are a master of shading things just right ;)

A brush, a puddle of ink, a box--and you turn them into this wonderful work work. Simplicity at its best!! When I paint (fabric, and it's all very abstract cuz even straight lines are a challenge), my poor brushes suffer terribly.

A thought provoking image for me. I see it emptying itself of all that it can no longer hold in anymore. The best part is that it was "allowed" to do so freely and in it's own time. How I draw the parallel between a brush and a human is beyond me, but maybe because it is so much a part of you....? I like it!

Martin is right, "a simple atmosphere". The lines crossing lines with fringed, expressive, edges. Remember to draw. A form of meditation? Most people "stiffen" with ink. Your looseness with the media exudes feeling.

So beautiful,so calm and so emotional i think. The B/W help to "feel" an inigmatic atmosphere...where Joy and melancholic co-exist.This is very well done and another great one.
