Description
My first watercolor in a long time. This is the painting I referred to in yesterday's upload! I crumpled the paper before-hand then painted the contours.(Gouache & watercolors. Border in PS.) * * * * * * As always, your visits & support mean the world to me. A wonderful Friday to all! Mark (my dedi's to you, friends, are coming: just a little more time... and big chunks-of-heart to those of you who're struggling: Big healing hugs your way!!!)

What a radiant play of colors. They just melt right into each other harmoniously! It almost looks like a beautiful flowing gown. I wish I could drape it over my shoulders and float radiantly about the room. Excellent.

What a neat technique, Mark, and it came out so cool ! ....this reminds me of how you light a candle, let it burn out all the way, then set another on top and do the same....keep going with numerous candles until you have one very tall candle with lots of multi-colored drippings....just thought you'd like my little take on this :o) Hugs n stay warm S

Great technique, quite like the colors and structure of this, and to me as well recalls candle flames.

Mark this is simply fabulous my friend and your use of water colors is really second to none. I can't get over how the colors stand out so and what a difference your idea like crumpling the paper can make. Excellent work my friend.

I think water color is my favorite form of painting, though I can't do it (or any other kind). It has a soft, dreamy quality to it that speaks to me. This one is just lovely, and the colors remind me of a shell, almost iridescent, pearly--beautiful piece, Mark!!

Lovely watercolor in lovely floating colors and I smile at your crumbling the paper first. Not because It is strange, but because you always have so exiting and unique ideas. Dont you think, I wont try that too :)))

Mark, this is the one I was mentioning. It speaks to me of the rainbows colors and Gods spectrum of his light in shaded hues.
