About me...hmmm, well lessee...
Why I do it:
I usually tend to do 2d/3d artwork for my own personal catharsis and it's usually purging some vile emotions I gained from contact with another person which is why my gallery tends toward the more darker 'rawr' side of things. Not in it to win any awards or get the most compliments.
How I did it:
P5-7, Vue6Pro, Wings3d, Hexagon, Cararra, PS7, PSP5
How I currently do it:
P5-7, pro 2010, p9, p10, p11, p11 pro, Cs3, blender 2.72, and psp5 to trim the fat off images
Where I do it: Here @ renderosity
Who makes me do it:
I am a very eccentric black sheep, and there a lot of very not nice people that hurt people with intent. I used to try to help, but those all backfired and the person I help tries to kill me, so I stopped for self preservation.
When:
I'm not good with time, so I can't answer this one...

I haven't had trouble with the restrictions...yet, but I do support what you say.

A point well made. If done right, art must jolt us out of our complacency as well as entertain. If people say "tone it down", isn't that why content filters exist, so they don't have to view material they don't want? If they don't want to see nudity or violence or what not, that's fine; just don't assume everyone should feel the same. Give me Christopher Nolan over Norman Rockwell. :)

I like the art here, and in general I agree with your sentiment. I'm wondering if this is the place to raise that though. I'm not complaining or criticizing, mind you, I'm just wondering what's the best way to discuss this?

Unfortunately, there is never a good place or time for such things Hopefully this isn't viewed as an incitement, it's just a passionate expressive, similar to a dangling participle, LOL
