Description

checking out the traffic on the way to work. working on light + clouds...this was an interesting endeavor. it is a decent amount of work to try to balance all the light elements, but i like the effect. all the elements made this one tricky. bazze ki84 (generously free at www.colacola.se), ApolloMax pilots with flight gear by adh3d right here on r'osity very nice set. hapless? steamer form daz3d usual poser/vue6inf/cs3 combo

I agree with Sim3344 - You can feel the planes banking in for the kill. The ship's wake is equally good, you can imagine in plying the waters. The only question I have is wouldn't the props be more "blurry"? Other than that, simply outstanding!!

how "blurry" should the props be...probably could spend a bit o time debating that one...i guess it would all boil down to what shutter speed the photographer is using (the little guy inside my head who can fly!) i was looking at some helicopter photos from vietnam and was amazed at how many of the blades are stopped dead in their tracks...something that, in a painting or render looks absolutely "cardboard cutout"...truth...stranger than fiction!

That is so good. About the blurring; its all about the shutter speed, as you said. Have been a news photographer for over 30 years, so its up to the me how blurry a prop should be. Prefer a blurry prop though.

Excellent work - love the balance of lighting between the clouds and the sea - great feeling to the plane banking down to go take a look.

Prop blurr...always a debate starter.POV + shutter speed ?? as you rightly say and as evident in so many great photo's on this site..it is as it appears. As a rendered image this is great, there is almost a flow, through the 2 banking planes leading to their target.Let's just say I love it.Plus I'm a huge fan of Bazze's excellent models.More like this would be very welcome.(blurr or not!).
