Description

The same person who owns that blue stained glass lamp owns this lamp, as well. The shade on this one is a stained glass oval ball. What I was really taken with, though, was this beautiful brass base.

agree with all the comments. The lighting & placement are classical. It's a beautiful capture. And the base is so perfect for its time: That blend of abstract form & nature all mixed into a swirling whole. You caught just the right angle, and your lighting brings out the brass 'green' on the edges, a fine effect. Very sensitive work all around.

The Art Nouveau genre gave us some of the loveliest stylized artforms, and this is a beautiful example: the graceful, flowing human figure. Excellent capture!

There is a touch-ability to brass. It feels warm to the touch and satin smooth when done right. This is so beautiful. One of my favorite art periods as well.
