Description

Hi everyone, I took this one last spring, a few miles from where I live, no tripod no large zoom lens just a lot of patience and I love watching them. Well I hope everyone is well, I have been away for a while, I managed to injure my eye, and it is healing but I have not been in the mood for much of anything, except staying inside and healing and trying to stay warm, extremely cold temperatures here like many of you are experiencing about now. So I am going to enjoy the three day weekend, try to finish a book I've been reading, that's not even been fun to do lately, and I love to read. Ok time to browse through what all I have missed here. By the way thanks to those of you that sent me site mail, I will get back to you soon. I am adding a site below it is a very sweet video of a man and a duck that a friend of mine from California sent me in an email, it's worth the 3 minutes it takes to view, at least I thought it was cute.

Duck in a truck

Thank you for your somewhat mixed comments on my last photo, lol I know it was different, but I kind of liked it.

Wonderful capture. The water looks like glass. It is so cold. I am glad you are on the mend. Enjoy your book. BTW, I liked the last picture. I grew up listening to and singing to Elvis on my record player. Yes, a record player. A long time ago.

Lynell, this is beautiful. The duck is stark & bold, and its reflections are pure painting: They unfold in the water in sumptuous waves, almost breathtaking in their line & clarity & sensuousness. You couldn't have caught animal and water more beautifully. And the water under his neck (as well as the little droplet in front) is like fine-spun silk, it's so articulate. This is a beautiful shot, and I hope it's harbinger of your healing to come. I'm so sorry about your eye, and I wish you much healing. (I mentioned you in my gallery, in my latest upload, though the drawing doesn't compare to this! But maybe my subject will send healing vibes your way too!) Get better! A lot of people love you & what you do here. Heal! Oh, and this is a fav...
