Shot this today after work, I’ve been trying to catch this guy for some time. Today he was more cooperative, I think he felt sorry for me and just give in. I took several shots of him and after going through them over and over I choose this one to share. Hope all has had and good week, thanks for stopping by and for your comments.

hey congrads i have been trying to get the one in my huge upperslope pine tree on the hill behind my house for a year now lol drives me crazy lol i can hear him but cannot see him hmm think he stays inside the tree ..beautiful woodpecker capture!!!

wonderful shot and you got the lighting to shine in his eye too. I read that in a photo book if you shot birds. that is hard to do at times.
