ba-boom! This hits in a bang! Great that you did this in response to Jodie's purple Farmall. (You think I know what "Farmall" is? I mean it could be the Rolls Royce of tractors, but I haven't got a clue...) Jodie's was about the quiet interplays of the tractor with the trees, shed, fence, etc; and this is about a big red TRACTOR! Whoosh! You caught it head on, gave us the wheel that devoured Tennessee (that's a big wheel, madame!), some great gravel, and that big vociferous RED! Man, that talks. I love this shot. If you put the purple Farmall with this guy, I wonder who'd win a fight. Jodie's probably reads poetry & drinks Cabernets: This guy bats .380 and hits 80 homers a year (without steroids). Love the shot. The title's right too: RED. Whoa... (by all means, keep getting better! hope your eyes are healing everyday!)

Those old Farmall are the bomb. Thats how I learned to drive pulling the hay wagon at 8 years old - boy that was heaven and the old girl sounded SO good when she ran. Thanks for the memories. just for the record it wasn't this OLD of a model I ran lol . . . ..B

Very nice closeup, intelligent composition of a great old treactor that I guess is still in use. In my country, even some tractors aged 50 years can be daily used by farmers, and there are museums to present old agricultural machines. They seem better protected against destruction than trucks or station-wagons.
