Description

Here is the second version of my render Bodhrán Player. It is the same render but I re-rendered it with the depth of field option enabled. I decided to try that option to see the result but I did not want to replace the original render that I uploaded yesterday with this one. I really love the realism of the textures by my Friend Stacy because the small deco that is placed all around the wrap is a real celtic symbol that has a special meaning: it is triskelion, the symbol of trinity. The triquetra (trinity) can have many different meanings: Spirit, Mind, Body; Father, Son, Holy Ghost; Past, Present, Future... Ancient Celts also honored the Great Mother, a lunar goddess who was the personifications of the three lunar phases (the faces of the goddess) at the same time. It is also said that it was the symbol of Bridgit, a goddess embodizing Art, Healing and Metalsmithing. Celtic culture is fascinating... :) Scene composed in Poser 7 and rendered in VUE 7 Complete. Thank you for the very nice comments that were posted yesterday and thank you for stopping by... :) Credits: -------- - At DAZ3D: V4.2; V4 Fantasy Wrap; Xylia hair; songbird and Songbird remix; the cloister; wreast (Thistledown); sandals (stylish shoes). - Free: bodhrán by Richard T; celtic hearts earrings by Stegy (links in the RMP free stuff)..

I think the depth of field adds a nice bit of depth and realism to an already beautiful image. Nice work.

I agree with Stacy. The effect is subtle but just slightly improved over the previous posting. (I admit - I had to keep going back and forth between the two to determine this.) Very nice work and I'll have to try that option. :)

Looks much better with the depth on. It brings more focus to the model, but of course you knew that already. Great job sir.
