Description

Well, today I finally had a chance to do a bit more painting on these babies. I was thinking, if I sell any prints of these, the profit should got to "Starving Supermodels" :p Anyway...the background has changed and I've added another pingie to this family. He/she is showing off the brand new pants with a matching turtle-neck :p As before, it's not done yet. Needs more details etc. Your comments and views are always appreciated as always. And yes, this one has got a big ugly watermark. I'd hate to see it end up elsewhere with someone else signature on it...even though I hate watermarks myself. It's getting too close to being ready to leave it online without any kind of protection however. Hope y'all had a great weekend :D C.

this is so wonderful! if you do sell prints of this you should give the earnings to a group that is trying to save the habitat of penguins from global warming--otherwise cuties like these guys will only exist in lovely art such as yours ;)

re. watermarks, you have to protect your work, it's a sad fact of life but we can still see your painting loud & clear. The new bird is definitely elated, and I love the tail-piece in his/her pants. And I wonder, given the rather stately manner of the Big Three (who seem to be chatting after a play, and not too interested in their bubbling partner), if #4 isn't thinking, "to hell with you three, ahmm happy!" I still love that pith helmut on the blue guy, tied with some kind of scarf; and the middle one with the sunglasses (yes?): looks like he's just too cool for anyone. Wonderful characterizations, and the modeling/shading is wonderful too. Beautiful work all around.
