Description

This is a project that is not really finished yet, but I'm getting there. If you are familiar with pinhole cameras, you also know that they are technically not very advanced, and the only thing you can do is to calculate the light, distance etc. the best you can to get good photos. A pinhole camera can be made from just about anything that won't let any light in, so I've used an empty metal can that a mug came in. So far it's been painted flat black both on the inside and outside. The "pinhole" itself is a tiny screw hole in a watch skeleton that I've screwed onto the front and decorated. The "lens cap/shutter" is the lid to an old pocket watch that's been laying around for ages...and the decoration around it are links from an old chain. I'm still working on the inside and the lid...and the "lens cap" needs some black or dark non-reflective fabric or similar so it won't send light into the pinhole when it's folded down. This should be ready to try out in a couple of days or so. Going to get some medium sized film and see if it works :D Thanks for peeking in :)

hehe...no Helle...it's not the language. If you're not into photography it's not for sure you know what this is. A pinhole camera is a very simple variety to a real camera. The main difference is that instead of a lens you have a tiny hole in the wall, and that's it. The film is attached inside that can in the picture above, and when you take the picture, you simply expose the film to the light that comes in through that tiny hole in the front. It makes for some really dreamy photos at times, depending on film and how it's being processed.

I am impressed, even if I don't have the faintest what it is and what it will be used for. But I love the design and your unique way to do things! Looking forwards for result, but now just enjoy the look of it.
