Description

“We shall see whose sorcery is greater!” Capello challenged defiantly, and then started to chant an incantation, calling to Teshwan of Chaos to grant his spell. Syn turned back toward him. Looking to the darkest part of his soul, he drew on the ties to all the Dukes of Hell that literally flowed through his veins, and the cold, blue hell-fire ignited behind his eyes. How could a human be so arrogant as to think his sorcery could stand against a Dragon Lord’s? He was born to sorcery; it was in the blood of his race. He did not need incantations to work a magic… His will was enough! He would have been satisfied to leave the fool to the ruins of his own creation, but it seemed fate would not be so kind. Capello would not accept his defeat; he had to attempt something even more foolish, and now Syn was forced to act. Without a word, or a gesture, Syn willed the spell to happen, and the air around the foolish human ignited with a thunderous roar as the flames of Kakatal manifested. Turning away, without regret, triumph or pity, he left his opponent to his fate. Screaming, as the sorcerous fire enveloped him, one more foolish human learned why he should never have defied Daeron Syn, the Dark Wolf of Melnibone! The dramatic end of another storyline I hope to explore on future images. Unlike most fantasy role-playing games, like Dungeons & Dragons, where all wizards cast the same spells in the same way, Stormbringer allows each sorcerer to come up with a unique way to cast spells. The actual game mechanics remain the same, but the method and role-playing can vary. However, most players cling to some form of incantation or dramatic gesture. Because Melniboneans are literally born to magic, I came up with the idea that Syn’s eyes light up with blue hell-fire, since chaotic magic is granted by the Lords of Chaos, who are also known as the Dukes of Hell. Thanks for looking... Hope you enjoy! Comments and suggestions always welcome and appreciated!

This one drew my attention as I'm a huge Elric fan. Looks very cool, especially the cold fire in his eyes. I'm sure the Dukes of Hell will appreciate it as well ;)

Oh, those morphs on him look even better in a portrait and those eyes are to DIE for! (okay, stop the spell weaving! I didn't mean literally!) Fantastic and absolutely stunning character portrait! Eh, what can I say? I got a thing for the bad boys ;-)
