Description

As I walked back from the bay, this is what I saw. There was a mist in the air that flowed over the trees, giving them this soft, dreamy look. I also have hope that today is the first step on a very hopeful, proud and momentous journey.

beautiful Marilyn, it pours down from the sky, with golden light; and the rocks or shrubs or bushes on the far side of the path are beautiful with all that white growth on top. And of course the trees in the background are gentle dreams with a saturated sky pouring down over everything. A beautiful send-off for a new moment in history. Beautiful hope and image to match, and so nice to come do at the end of my day...

I love this view with it's autumn colors everywhere... the power lines run like spider webs don't they? I am always dismayed by a breathtaking scene that is entangled in power lines. A sign that nothing goes untouched these days. Gorgeous shot.
