Locked up deep within myself I don't think I can get out Trapped within bad memories Locked inside without a key Darkness consumes my world of white The battle ends without a fight Cold sun gives off absent light Cold one knows not wrong or right Poison seeps within my veins Flooding all with frozen rain I'll be screaming before long Shattered soul can't sing it's song This is another image of my lock and key. I think that I liked this one better, but I really couldn't decide yesterday, so I decided to show you both. This is an extremely dark poem that comes from deep within a broken part of my soul. I had flashbacks from my childhood the other day and this is what has come from it.

sorry for your painful memory & experience, you've expressed it well and I wish you strength. Your visual is painful too, but I hope you know (along with a lot of others who've seen this & the last piece) that it also has light and beauty in it: a closeup of these two objects glistening in the snow, emerging too. Maybe it's the illumined part of you shining through an otherwise pained moment in your life...sensitive job putting these two together and you show strength sharing them openly. Much heart your way...
