Description
BUY THIS TRUCK!!!
Eighty-second in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California.
For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08.
In searching Google for information on this particular vehicle, I was stunned and disappointed that most all it had to offer were websites to diecast model toys of same. There was virtually no extensive info or photos of the real live truck itself.
As you can see, this one is in tiptop shape, well cared for, and, other than no ladder(s), is well equipped.
A full size view would be to your distinct benefit. Collage #2 to follow tomorrow.
Thankx for clicking on, and have a tender Tuesday.

I feel pretty lucky to be able to get onto the first page of comments. What a colorful beauty, this looks fantastic. When you've reached a 100 in the vintage car department, will you be going through your Koi folder once more?

Wonderful antique fire engine photographed with style and grace. Looking at the name on the hood I just had one of those epiphany moments. It is possible that this vehicle was the first motorized fire engine in the town that bought it. Prior to 1914, many places still used horse drawn equipment. I've seen fire departments my entire life referring to "engine companies". It just dawned on me this was to differentiate such a company from horse drawn companies. Duh...
