Description

BUY THIS TRUCK!!! Eighty-third in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California. For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08. The followup to yesterday's collage. In the bottom shot I must have used a higher shutter speed than normal for it to have come out so sharp because the vehicle was putt-putting along at a relatively fast pace, apparently on its way to quench a fire somewhere. All it lacked in this instance were ladders and a dalmatian. But the comely passenger more than made up for that minor inconvenience. Incidentally, a week ago I was startled to discover that some of my Renderosity classic auto photos from this show were picked up by Google and are listed as reference material on their search engine. I am humbled and thankful by this significant honor. Thankx for coming by, and have a hump day of epic proportions.

Great detail and superb POVs. Did you notice the heel button on the floor where the comely passenger can press it...must operate the siren or something. Bet you are glad you got into watermarking your photos. Congratulations on Google finding a use for several shots.

I enjoy this series so much, seeing all these incredible cars and trucks. Brings back memories when my dad and I would go to car shows. Can't be these pieces of great quality.

What a classic beauty this is, I am curious and amused about the wreath made of rope. Nice shots, Harry.

Very cool shots! Maybe the "comely passenger" needs to put some black spots on?
