Description

I fall back into the same hole, The one that first ate my soul. Kicked back into the abyss, Despair brought on by bliss. Edging forward to the line, Bring it on another time. I'm here with all my wit, Don't think I'm gonna quit. Cut loose unto the winds, Streamlined on heavenly fins. This time I've come to fight, First one up wins the right, To breathe the golden air of gods, Not struck down by thunder rods. Valhalla lift me up here I come, Valkyries shall not stop my drum, Battle march on the final path, The chosen ones shall feel my wrath, Waging war against the invincible, Doesn't mean they aren't destructible. Perhaps I have a little more to lose, Perhaps I should have let them choose, My destiny that keeps crashing to shore. Few would choose to fight this war, But bring it on I'll lose it all, Just so they can hear my battle call, I'm not ready to throw the towel, I'm going to call their foul. Now I know it was meant to be, The fight is what will set me free. ----------------------------------- For those of you interested, my previous post "A Brand New Story" has made it to my site as a song. It changed title somewhere in between, but the new title is "My Love" as it was officially written for my wife and the acknowledgement that our troubles are ending. It can be found, of course, at http://airlynx.sitesled.com (Nothing wrong with shamelessly plugging my website is there? It's not like I can post music here on Renderosity. And of course, snippets of this poem can be heard in the song "Sigil" on my site.)

May the wisdom of Odin lead you and the courage of Thor be at your side. But always may the Noble Virtues be the center of your being. There in lies the magic of Sigil. Strange how the universe spins, I was just catching up on some reading and took a break to come here. And low and behold, your poem. Or is it strange, really? An enjoyable read...worthy of the Gods. Yeah heartnsoul said, "Strange how the universe spins". Although, my choice of words would not be "strange" yet, rather "beautiful, and "FUNtastic" how it spins" It is one merry go round I LOVE, on it I'm screaming faster, faster...until I puke! (Add sound effects, really makes that visual wild.) Of course as a silly child, after, I clean up and get a grip again… I jump back on, and scream, faster, faster! "Laughs 'at self' hysterical" When I came here to read this I was listening to "Riders on the Storm" and yes, I read this on your music site and I like some of the others as well. I also enjoyed "The Ba-ba Song" I laughed, it was great! Thanks for sharing, rock on, see you soon.
