Description
Alexander Preuss has created a wonderful tubeworld which can be seen at the CG Society site. His interpretation is truly breathtaking and was the inspiration for this humble submission, along with Larry Niven’s memorable Ringworld.
As usual, all models are original and were created in either Bryce5 or Wings3d. Post work in PSP8. Thanks for lookin’!

Excellent work. This would make a great animated sequence, flying along the cityscape.

Incredible Bryce work. You're inspired by the best, but your interpretation and execution is your own.

Wonderful work! I love the ring-world concept as it is a bit more feasable than the Dyson Sphere concept--which in science fiction is generally a misinterpretation of Dyson's original idea which involved a spherical shell of satellites around a sun and not a solid sphere (as depicted in Star Trek and other not-exactly-science fictional sf dramas.) This is gorgeous and truly breathtaking work. I love it.

I have that book, Ringworld, and this is pretty much how I imagined it to look like in my mind as I read it - excellent work!

Thanks for directing me to Alexander Preuss. Jeez! However, that's not to take anything away from this outstanding artwork. Thanks for sharing. You are a Bryce Master.
