Description

Not the best shot.. Not one of my best by far.... But a rare shot for me. Caught this male on my Oak tree a couple days ago. To bad I had bad light to deal with. But I did my best. Thanks for looking.. B PS, Full size gives an OK look at it.

I think this is an outstanding capture. It is far better than I could ever do. I know about woodpeckers, and the black and white kind live here, too. If I ever got a shot of one, I'd be over the moon. ;o) Excellent.

Oh, man, no fair! I've been trying all winter to get a shot of the one in my yard! Knowing how shy they are and how fast they move through the tree, I think you got an excellent shot, Bruce!
