Description
What to say about Nikita? each one have their own impressions of her cause she was special. I knew about her and she knew about me though we never really talked. In a way I cared about her, something I can't explain and won't even dare to try to understand. All I knew of her was that she was one step ahead.. maybe more... and that was enough reason for me to smile. Now she's not only one step ahead but one plane above , where she should be, cause some people are't meant for this world, they are meant for something bigger .
Jeff mentioned that this world had lost a star.. but now she's right up there... shinning.. laughing.. and like it says on my favorite book..
"And at night you will look up at the stars. Where I live everything is so small that I cannot show you where my star is to be found. It is better, like that. My star will just be one of the stars, for you. And so you will love to watch all the stars in the heavens . . . they will all be your friends. "
"In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night . . ."
Niki flew back home, after a brief but remarkable life , flapping her wings like a butterfly on her way to the sun till she couldn't be seen anymore... leaving us with the gift of stars that will be shinning brighter and laughing when we look at the sky at night..

Ilona, I didn't know Nikita until I read she passed away, and then I wanted to know her more than I can really relate. She was indeed a very special soul, as I found out when I read the words of Celeste. I wanted to know more of her, and I found her twin-sister's gallery, bella_sometimes, and spent all of last night looking through her gallery. It was a profound experience, listening to the music, seeing and feeling the shared pain and love between these two sisters. I wept over Bella's heartbreaking images and poems, and cried harder over Niki's responses. So much love. I felt as if she were speaking to me. And I wished from the depths of my soul that LJ had written some of those words to me, so I could look at them and feel loved when I need it the most. I understand Bella's pain at this huge and impossible loss of someone who knew her better than anyone and shared things no one else could ever understand. I now know both sisters in my heart, and pray for them both. I know Niki is in a better place and watching over Bella and all those she dearly loved. And I hope Bella will continue expressing her feelings through her words and images and know there are those who really care. Thank you for creating this exquisite tribute to a very special girl. Her spirit is eternal, and all-encompasing and will live forever. Hugs - CC

A very lovely image and a very heart-felt tribute. I only knew of Nikita after I read she had passed away and I went to read about her and view her sister's images. Everyone looses something when such a bright light passes on. I really like your words ... "leaving us with the gift of stars that will be shinning brighter and laughing when we look at the sky at night."

Sister, you have the words... You pointed me in her direction and I appreciated it a lot... I am terribly angry for all what she had to live... no reason for that, no reson for accept that... But she is ok, surely. Her other said it fine, she is gone and thanks God some lucky people knew her in time. Not me... but can read what she wrote and see a little of how she thought...An enlighted child is a child forever...she will be writing and painting in the heights, meanwhile we keep worrying for small things. She is ahead, in the deserved happy place for harmed souls.
