Description

I'd never seen an ornamental cabbage in a cut flower arrangement before, and I couldn't resist shooting a few photos. I took this with Marilyn's camera when she was up here at Thanksgiving. Usually when I postwork something beyond all recognition, I've started with a decent shot. I'll admit it, though ... this one was blurry to begin with! (I didn't do so well using someone else's camera.)

You could have just said you were giving this a soft look on purpose...we'd believe you :-) Nice looking bloom and most unusual in a cut flower arrangement. The cabbage flower really captures a lot of light. Well done.

delicate violets (the color), very painterly lights & darks on all your colors, watercolor-like in spots, oil in others, lovely detail on the shaded parts, and the real feel of a painting, ie, the human hand transforming nature into the visions of the heart. Beautiful work, Tara, as always.
