Great collection. Why are they spraying (water?) the logs?

The composite is nice, but I would like to see larger versions of some of the insets; cloudy day or not! :P The upper left image and the one directly below it are especially appealing to me... Please consider sharing them as larger, single images. :) Each of the smaller images has merit enough to be separately featured. ;)

Wonderful work, Jock! The images on the left could benefit from a paper color other than white. Go Edit > Backgrounds > More Options and from there you can choose any RGB color you want. So many choices. I also tried their very faint stripes and they work well for images with both very light and very dark in them. I didn't understand the water, either. You might want to make a double spread just to help see the water part better. Peeling? Fire prevention? Floating them down the river?

Neat sereis of lumber pix Jock ! It seems funny that on a wet day they need to water the stacks, but I guess all that wood generates a lot of heat...just like grass clippings. Well done & ~Cheers~

It's either a lumber mill, or the ACME Toothpick Co. is gearing up for a busy 2k9!
