Description
Alright, that's it. After this poster, I'm done with technical drawings for a while. I think I need to go back and make some of the Belter ships less ugly and more diverse, but I'll put those in actual scenes and not charts.
For this one, I went back and fixed the previous detail sheet with updated images based on the things I needed to move around to make the cutaway work. I also made the landing gear slide out a little more so the thing doesn't look like it will topple over. And I fixed the statistics on the ship, mostly from changes made in the cutaway.
The vehicle, cutaway drawing and ship logo were made in Bryce 6.1 and exported as .BMP files (images and object masks both), the deck plans and the large text block came from Visio 2007, exported as .PNG files and the final composition was put together in PSP 12.5. The original document is 2500 X 4000. For posting, I reduced it to 1200 X 1920 as a compromise (readability vs. compression), but I'm still not 100% happy with the amount of compression I had to force to get this down to 500K.
Hope you like it. And again, thanks for all your views, comments, and favorites. I'll go back to more artistic images plus a flash story for a while.

This is truly fantastic! The amount of work that went into this technical drawing is just amazing, and if I didn't know better, this looks like it came out of an actual equipment manual from the future. You've out done yourself with this one. An instant favorite!

Excellent work all around in the modeling but especialy in the creation and thought to detail. The blueprints of the decks are a great touch.

Really have enjoyed this "little" exercise of yours a lot. Lots of thought put into this baby and it shows.

Fantastic new views of this great model :)

Terrific work, especially the cut away schematic. I like the retro 'rocket ship' look to it too.

Fascinating project. Extremely well done and well presented.

I am totally amazed at the level of detail and thought that goes into your designs,I just like making cool ships, but yours give the sense that they will actually work if built...I'm guessing that there's a high level of knowledge in these areas in your everyday life! The ship design is very unique,I especially like how,in the front elevation,it takes on the look of a grasshopper. The presentation is extremely well done...excellent work my friend!

This is a perfect example of what you can do in Bryce with a little patience. The work here is just brilliant! If anyone says that you can't model in Bryce then they just may want to take a look at this. The modeling here is outstanding in all respects! My hat is off to you my friend; Bravo!!! Cheers, David

This image is successful on all points. The information is conveyed in a colorful and compelling without compromising attention to technical details. This is truly one of your best images!

That is stunning. Thank you so much. Is there any place I can view the poster in the size you intended.
