Got my BS at Penn State and my MS at Texas A&M in chemical engineering where I met my beautiful wife. Over time, I've gravitated back toward pretending to be an artist with my main interests in photography and modeling. I primarily use Rhino and Carrara as my apps of choice for 3D modeling.
Currently, I've gotten out of the whole engineering scene and do IT and graphics design work for a biotech company. I'm also an avid scuba diver. I try to get away each year to the Carribean. So, I'll toss in a few underwater photos (snapshots in my case) every now and then into the gallery. I play classical guitar and cello when I can.
Lately, I've been getting into astronomical photography using a Celestron CGE-1100 SCT telescope system along with a TMB 92 mm refractor piggy-backed to the Celestron. Also at my disposal is a TMB 152/1200 refractor. Photographic tools of choice include an ImagingSouce 640x480 webcam, an SBIG STL11000m monochrome CCD camera, and of course my trusty Fuji S2-Pro and Nikon n90s cameras.

This really is an achievement. I was through off by the color as I thought it has a more yellow/orange coloring but the more I look at this, the more I like the color. Imagine just how far away this is... an incredible shot.

Quite an achievement, my 4 1/2 inch can only vaguely display the planet. Excellent capture and color treatment.

Great shot...the last time I looked many years ago it was an angled top view of the rings through a small 4" reflector. This is a fine photo and thanks for it. Glad to see in LWITG.
