Description

The Whirlpool Galaxy was discovered by Charles Messier in 1773. Its distance is around 37 million light years away. Imaged with a 16" Ritchey-Chretien telescope and an SBIG STL11000M ccd camera.

Splendid capture of this Messier's object... We're so little in front of this kind of gigantum stars congregations ! Setting is very good. Impressive work. Very, very nice, bravo :0)
