Description


The trail on the right takes you to Honokane Nui Valley. Parts of the Valley are privately own and you would need a permit to enter into the Valley. But unfortunately, the trails have been destroyed by the Oct 2006 earthquake causing landslides and such making it almost impossible to get into the Valley. We'll see. Watch your step Errol. One misstep and you might get into the valley quicker than you want:-) These volcanic hills or mountains are extremely steep in places aren't they... Excellent photography to give us a feel for the terrain.
