Description

They come and go without warning lucid moments Crystal clear as icy water tingling thoughts regrets Then gone like the wind on a hot summers day Leaving you looking into the void, lost and alone Now you stand staring into the blazing hot sun Wondering if all you believe is undone. Do you remember how it was...before now Could it be again if we tried. It all went wickedly twisted somehow Or has the illusion morphed into a lie? While childhood reigned supreme in our lives They studied us well as they sharpened their knives Taught us to pray, showed us what was wrong what right Frightened us senseless, made us afraid of the night Our feelings we've hidden so safetly away, Never again seeing the bright light of day. Do you remember how it was...before now Could it be again if we tried. It all went wickedly twisted somehow Or has the illusion morphed into a lie? Wait until you grow to a man they used to say Pushing aside childish dreams no more play They made the rules enslaved youthful minds Seeing the world through rose-colored blinds Sweat-stained eyes viewing plexiglass skies Cracked broken backs... petrified minds. Do you remember how it was...before now Could it be again if we tried. Or has the illusion morphed into the lie? Seth

WOW! I'm not sure which impresses me more the image or the words! Both are very good and deep! Thought provoking to say the least

Oh S.. this poem needed no image to accompany it. It is so ... overwhelming for lack of a better word. It speaks so well to my present circumstance that it is frightening as I am finally forced to take up the role of a parent to my parents... to have to deal with an adult who is now a child, and will never grow up. The image speaks to an inner torment that I wonder will it ever go away?

You know Seth. The black of our heart, arises like the love unconditional with the savour of large the Loves. The indifference of some us endoctrine of our goodnesses. One should not be afraid on this black side. They brings wisdoms of large in love to us. Us to view with the heart It is us to give again savours and to let to us live our emotions we who want to live our passions in a glance if not black ((5++)) Tu sais Seth .
