Description

Ok this is one MojoTree creation that I was planning to use in my 'PrutzCity Inhabitants' image, however with a forest as dense as I need & the amount of branches (logs) created ....mojo dies on me :( Looks like I`ll have to re-create another variation with less branches. Needless to say these varaiations I`ll add to the freestuff once Im complete with everything else, in case others would like to use them. TFV&C Wºz™

That's just freaking wild, didn't know you could do that in MoJo. Man the more I learn in MJW the less I know. Awesome piece of work Peace

What if you use your plant in conjuunction with the switcher node in mojotree. You could make a lowres version and switch to that and then far far away you could switch to a material ? It might only look a bit weird if you do animation, and then only if you notice the switching i tried with switching from high poly to extreme low poly and it works fine. But in my attempt you could see the switching to i have to smart about it. Switching to a material i found a difficult to get it to look right in comparison with the models, but still there is oppotunity there especially if you plan on populating the entire planet.

@elscorpio - thx for the feedback. very useful. Unfortunately this is created directly in MojoTree & not a mesh so switcher doesnt work for me :( @Len - This is MojoTree its a mojo bolt on unless you have Pro in which case its included (from memory). Its a cool part of the app...has some limitations & radically increases rendertimes when used with forests :(

@elscorpio - My apologies, You're right! Switchjer does work with MJT branches & not just meshes. I`ll be giving it a try soon :) Cheers!

Excellent looking plant Woz.....MJTree is a cool tool....but it's the massive increase in rendertime that P's me off....then again, maybe my creations were just too fancy/detailed to be practical...^_^.
