Description

Still a WIP. Im happier with the materials for the structures & have reworked the clouds & mist layers. Inadvertantly I removed the ocean which has altered the materials for the foreground as they are altitude driven from the Sea level. This has resulted in a bleached out effect...so I`ll be reworking that. Ive had tons of experiments with the plant-life but nothing worth sharing atm. Please raise any strong crits....Im aware of the banding in the clouds....its partly to do with how I built the cloud bank from a stretched basis that is driven by a twister node & then added with more natural cloud forms. In the upper right this gives some nice effects but at distance Im not too sure. Rendered in Mojo Pro 3.1.1 with Volumetrics Plugin by Dmytry Lavrov & Postwork with Photoimpact (levels/framing/text). AA3 GD4 Full reflections/Refractions/Vol Shadows/No Vol RT/Mojo Fast actual size = 19hrs. TFV&C Wºz™

Excellent tweaks, The formations are much more distinctive. I like the cloud formations, even at distance they look fine to me. I'm having a helluva time trying to get something like that for clouds in my Hive world, think maybe the camera is too close to the formations to get anything in between :🤷: Awesome job, can't wait to see more Peace

Excellent work Woz!....The mats on the towers looks superb man....in fact the whole lot (even the foreground) looks spot on to me....I agree that the clouds could do without the banding but that could always be done with a little postwork.

Great work with those transparent parts. The clouds are cool and fit the movement of the composition very nicely.
