Description
Scene at the Osper Aircraft, Ship, Train and Military Vehicle Manufacturing and Modifying Industries complex advertising department.
“Hey this memo is from the front office, they want some publicity pictures of the new Allison engine we’re putting in our P-39.”
“I’ll check with the USAAC censor and see what we can show.”
Some time later “ Oh great, the censor won’t let us show the engine on it’s stand by itself, it has to be installed.” How many P-39's do we have with the engine in it right now.
“That’s easy, only one!”
“Just one?”
“Yep, just a single aircraft”
“Well what’s the big rush?”
“I don’t know, it has something to due with the fact the company hasn’t put out any renders for a while and the front office is afraid we’ll lose public interest and hence won’t get any bailout money from the government.”
“Don’t they know there’s a war on?”
“I suppose so, but you never know exactly what goes on up there.”
“Do you mean the front office or Capitol Hill?”
“Take your pick!”
“Well how do you want to do this?”
Hey let’s get that girl from marketing, Allison what’s her name and put her in the picture. A pretty girl always sells and it doesn’t hurt her name’s Allison also.”
“Neat idea, the front office ought to like it a lot.”
Credits: the Allison engine is by the one and only Tallpindo. (It took a big shoe horn to get it in there.)
Vic 3 with Kozaburo’s hair, sweater by Bat limited and shorts by Al3D
Planes, hangers and a lot of stuff you can’t see but just had to be there by Osper Enterprises done in Wings3d . Rendered in Vue7i.
Note this picture was approved by the censor (my wife) as suitable for anybody who bothers to look at it! No animals were harmed in the making of this picture. Indeed none could be found in the Vue 7 object list that installed itself. Oh yeah, carbon offsets will be planted the next time a picture with trees is done! :)
Thanks for looking!

I'd take the lovely Miss Allison up in a P-39 anytime. This type of scene was common on USAAF bases in the States as movie stars and glamour gals visited. Great render!

I like the Sioux chief who is an honor when he appears. In my addled mind I always referred to him as "Chief Pentecost" because of his many voices. No more crying over spilled June Allyson flicks.
