Description

Well, after seeing Carnetto's expression when I asked about his mate, I decided to take a chance. I asked him, through Zlata, if it would be okay if I could take a family portrait. He agreed and we set up the time and place. Here in Fae Valley, there's a region called Summerwood and this is where I met them. Carnetto introduced me to his mate, Tirina and their 1 1/2 year-old son, Seneel. While I had no problems getting Carnetto and Tirina to pose, getting Seneel to stay still for a picture was just a bit of a challenge. (Try taking a picture of a 2 year old child or a puppy and you know what I mean). After about 2 hours of fussing, this was the best I could do, the other pictures, even with a high shutter speed, Seneel was a blur. As you can also see, the parents were getting a bit on the irritated side, not with me, but with their son. Hopefull in the future, we'll be able to get more 'composed' pictures. Carnetto, pulled me aside and with Zlata translating, told me that they were going to try to have a little girl soon. That will be wonderful! and they asked me to take the baby pictures! Thank you all for the wonderful comments on my last image, 'Come on and take a free ride' and I've since learned that it was Edgar Winter Group that did it. (Thanks Schonee for the You-tube link) Everyone have a great week and remember 325 shopping days til Christmas!

Sorry, never had to try tophoto a dragon 'pup', but we have two corgis who often seem to decide the attempt to photo means come stand by one's feet, meaning no more photo :-)

Aww geez, Mike, I still haven't recovered from the shopping trauma of Christmas 2008 ... I HATE shopping, unless it's for a new pc or something .. Nothing better then a family shapshot. Posed pics are nice, but snapshots are so much better!! I think when Mr. and Mrs. Carnetto look at the pics in years to come, they will agree!
