Description

Yesterday, I had the chance to purchase a new digital camera for myself (something I have planned to do for a while) and so I got the Canon Powershot A590 IS. And of course, as anyone who's purchased a new camera, everything and anything is fair game to be shot. so, in between DAZ work, LCT series and other such fine things (and I use that term loosely) I will be posting some pictures that I've taken with MY camera, not my mom's. While she's bee very gracious for letting me use it, I wanted my own to take with me where-ever I go whenever I go. some of you might recognise this rock - it was used when I posted my 100th upload. and that is a chestnut next to it. I will say that this camera has some serious funtions on it as well as the ability to change lenses. Thanks for all the wonderful comments and faves with my last image Fae Valley portrait - Carnetto & Family. I really appreciate them Mike

Congrats on the new toy! I have the Powershot A570 IS, and am really getting antsy to get something better, but first I have to learn a bit more about what I'm doing! The nice thing about this one is its portability--it lives in my purse, so I always have it with me, and it is pretty versatile (up to a point). I'm not sure what the A590's strong points are, but I'm sure I'll see soon as you post your work!
