Description

This lovely sparrow enjoyed watching me drinking a cappuchino and I think had hoped I had either some biscuits or cake to give him, I didn't but he stayed to watch just in case. He looks a little dishevelled but it was quite windy. Thank you for your views and comments Susan

In my childhood (a century ago) there were sparrows everywhere. Then one day I looked around and they were gone, replaced by pigeons and the occasional blackbird. I've always wondered what ever happened to those little birdies. Unlike yours in the photo, by the way, sparrows used to be frightened of humans. Lovely picture!
