Description

One of the few pics I felt like taking this week after chemo..This was the next day..I have been so sick since chemo glad I took what few I did then...One or two may follow when I rode with hubby to the country to pic up his box money from his sales on the paper route he has on the weekend... This little bush is between my house and my neighbor's...I couldn't belive the ice on those berries..I was cold so I know this lil berry bush was...... 193,000 people are without power here in Ky..Our Gov has asked the President to declare our state an emergency zone...Billions of dollars in damage done.....25 deaths......100's of wrecks and many fires due to people using generators, keresone and space heaters..I have 2 space heaters but they have a saftey device on them..... Was under another Winter Storm Advisory today..several times it's snowed and you couldn't see.....Now dealing with bitter cold temps...Its 7 here now and below zero with wind chill temps... This round of chemo really got me and this winter storm didn't help at all I have been so very sick... All post work done in PSP 7 Added border and frame..No text this time I thought it would take away from the pic..... Any and all comments are appreciated... Please forgive me if I haven't commented on images... I have just really really been sick this go round Hope you all have a great weekend and you are warmer than I am... Hugs Susan aka Blush

It looks so very cold and so beautiful...I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, and that the cold isn't helping any. Stay tucked in bed and stay as warm as you can; hopefully the sick will pass soon and you'll be feeling better and stronger!

It's very cold looking but at the same time pretty brrrrrrr-- rather be here in californi-aaaaaaaaaaa ! though lol:: sorry you've been having a bad time of it ,you would think they would be through with chemo RX by now you seem to have a lot of it be sure that they're not over doing treatments of course I know you've missed a few due to weather etc but it still seems a lot over the years that you've mentioned going,my friend had a very rare cancer almost no treatment for it,but still had very few treatments and now is done it only took over 3 months and she is doing fine ,make sure your getting the correct treatment perhaps even another doctor ?? wishing you well: hugs ))PS/I sent you a message from multiply:

Just stay safe and warm. As long as you are sick, you know the chemo is doing its job to make you better. I do hope you feel better soon though. A gorgeous capture. Ice storms are so treacherous, but the beauty of the ice encased plants is fantastic. Bunny

Aw, Susan...this is beautiful but I can see from the ice how cold it is. I have read all about what is happening there and I have worried alot about you. As long as the electricty is on, and you have those heaters, you should get through it ok. Still under the blankets!

I admire your courage in such adverse weather conditions Susan. This is a lovely shot. I hope it gets warmer for you. It's pretty cold out here in UK but nothing like what you must be experiencing out there. Steve :o)

its pretty when every branch becomes covered in ice like that, but I'll take summer over ice any day!! LOL it's a shame about the deaths involved from the recent storms. Such a shame. Nice pic Susan.

An exquisite capture. Very strange weather huh? Even the snow here is different. It doesn't lay heavy like it usually does....light and fluffy...all this snow and still none of it is snowman material! grrrrrrrrrrr Feel better soon.....lot's of warm thoughts and healing energy your way.

Oh dear Susan I am so sorry that you have been so sick this time as I wrote you earlier. To suffer the extreme cold on top of everything is just too much. How thoughtful to take the time during your sickness to take a great shot of this solid ice on the berries so you could share it with us all, thank you my friend, and try to keep warm and rest now. I have never ever seen such ice before!!! hugs Jane xx

All around you cold and ice But your heart warm... You show your inner strength Just by going on... You show your love of Nature By braving the icy winds... To share in the midst of disaster A single touch of beauty.

I'm so sorry you have had to go through so many bouts of chemo for so long. Hope you will be done with all that soon and on the road to healing. In this wonderful shot you have found beauty in the midst of everything. Be well and stay warm. CC
