My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

What a grand old lamp. Is this 1950s modern? I don't know if there is any such category:) B&W certainly allows me to look at the design of the lamp itself and of course the light pattern goes with the territory very nicely.

A crisp and detailed image...the shade could pass for an upside down layer cake..

OH, I just LOVE this lamp--and I even love the (gasp!) black and white; it's perfect!!

Wonderful to see this , Tara, and a superb shot, of course! Can you remember the name of that material it's made of...it is something 'olene'. I have several shades my Ma made with that stuff still in use, but the name evades me.
