Description
Ninety-fourth in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California.
For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08.
Here are a couple of shots I was undecided on posting, but I figured what the heck, if you've already faithfully survived the rest of the photos from this show, this is a definite change and should be relatively easy to absorb.
Pictured is an interview with Cathy G., standing dressed for the occasion with her pampered poodle next to her elegant 1948 Delahaye 135MS Faget-Varnet Cabriolet, photos of which I posted back on 11/12/2008.
The fellow on the left in the top photo, being conked on the head with the microphone, is the gatekeeper/sentry for this event; the one in the middle is the cameraman, and the guy on the right is obviously the sound person. Of note are the chaotic surroundings.
The bottom photo, with the crew, the lovely interviewer and interviewee, is self explanatory.
Some badly needed rain is on the way.
Thankx for looking in, and have a tenuous Thursday.

Her poodle may be pampered but she obviously has no interest in whether it is comfortable or not. Most interesting pics.

Your ever-present clarity is temporarily on holiday in the top photo (hazy) but the overall story of Cathy G. and her pampered poodle is told perfectly in these two pics. Glad you posted them...I do remember the Delahaye from mid November too.

One of the beautiful people for sure...or so she thinks...

What's this? Cynics apparently on the menu for today.

Excellent and interesting shots!

Nice shots; these are people who have way more money than I will ever have! Glad you're finally going to have some rain...

With such chaotic surroundings and the throng of people, I can see that it was a daunting task to try to get shots on this day without too many people in the way!
