Description

This is the mate of the Lady Cardinal from yesterday's post. They are always together, but he is much more wary and shy, and harder to capture. With travel at a minimum these days, I appreciate your views and comments, even if recent images seem all too similar in subject and style.

Nonpareil capture, Maria! Now this is a real red Cardinal, in all his glorious attire. So much more colorful than his mate, which is the norm in the avian world (e.g., peacocks).
