Hydrangea (Hortensia) in Madeira. This blue color is not so unusual in nature... Take a look at junge1’s great macro :

I have a big bush of these too, and the color is exquisite. The color changes depending on the acidity of the soil; in Virginia where I lived before they were an intense deep blue, as they are here. In California they were pink. I prefer the blue! And this is a wonderful shot!
