Description

He111P-2 G1-FA from Geshwaderstab KG55, Battle Of Britain, This Aircraft was shot down over England in the summer of 1940..... Just got a new toy from Touchwood & tried it out with a quickie render, redoing textures for this product was really easy since a layered psd file is included, (this is briliant, retexturing was never so easy) recolored it with RLM 70/71 for top cammo & changed designation numbers, toned down the other layers a litlle (wanted to show less wear) & that was that! Also used the stuka bailed out pilot from thunderr. No post work on this, assembelled in poser then imported in vue, the trailling smoke consists of spehre objects (about 60 of them) in fire & smoke materials. Some of you purists will point out that touchwoods model isnt a P2, extrenally the only diff is the engine exhaust, from this angle you cant really tell the diff.... so i took a little creative licensing, after all they used casa C3´s 111A in the movie Battle Of Britain! Just rewatched it again for the millionth time, & I´m still impressed at how well the SFX stand up to todays standards of CGI FX, I never seem to get enough of that movie!

Fantastic model and very well done on the retexturing and then the render itself. Just amazing how you built the smoke - not thought of that and I wonder if I can pull off something like it in D/S.
