Yes, I imagine it was just about the best sight in the world to any downed naval aviators. I did a render awhile back with a similar scene, but I like yours much better than my own--and I like it pretty well. Very nice work!

MAN! I absolutely love PBY's. Some people call them "flying tugboats" but man what a sight. Excellent scene and posing. The detail of the pilot and gunner supporting each other is a GREAT touch.
