UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

Great shots, Bill! I love this collage!

Beautiful grouping there, Sir. Vivid colors and wonderful capture of Americana. In my mind, I can see the Lady of the house in her apron calling the hands to dinner. The man of the house in his straw had rubbing his hands together with anticipation of a wonderful meal as he walks out of the barn. Off to the dentist this AM then to SC. Cheers, Skipper

Great shots! I'm with Andrea ... I love that house. Thanks for taking the trouble to show us more of this wonderful place! It's so interesting to see the tilt of the barn, and to know it's still functional in that condition.

Great images, Bill.

What a wonderful collage, Bill. I did think my eyes were playing tricks with me seeing how catty-wompus that barn is. And what a charming farmhouse... I can just see Aunty Em setting some hot apple pie on the window sill to cool. A most charming view of rural life in Kansas... bravo, Bill!

Nice trio Bill, that sure looks unsafe though, but as you have assured us it isn't I'll take that to the bank :).

I love this house and the barn is so exciting. perhaps someone backed into that large door causing the upper frame damage...I like thinking about what might have gone on here and knowing it is still in used is even better. That house is fabulous and I can image waking before dawn to go downstairs and make a big breakfast to start a long, hard day. There was a time I thought the best thing in the world would be to be a farmer's wife.

Stellar everything...POV, clarity, colors, lighting, et al, depicted in this fine collage, Bill! I immediately thought of the Leaning Tower of Pisa when I saw the bottom shot. Is that an underground parking entrance I see?

The barn looks great in all it's uneveness but the farm house really is something else Bill. Please post as many of these as you can find as they are fantastic.
