Description

Missing Socks Laundry day had rolled around again, as it always did every Sunday. Ethel began separating the darks, the whites—the briefs and the socks… “Now I know Mac’s been wearing those winter socks I got him for Christmas… Why, I have seen them on his feet! TARNATION... Where the dickens are they?” Each Sunday was the same, well—until Mac was seen one Sunday morning sporting a yellow pair of spring socks.. “Mac, what in tarnation have you done with all those winter socks I bought you?” Mac just sat back and smiled—he had yet to tell Ethel about his new hobby or the fact that he was darn sure he was destined for the Ripley hall of Fame. I think Mac has reached out and rifled through my sock drawer, too. I can't find half my warm, winter socks! And doggone it, that one pair up there looks like .. HEY .. THEY ARE MINE!! I want my socks back!! Thanks for the giggles .. needed them today!
