Description

This is a picture I took waaaaaay back over a year ago in Pennsylvania of a duck in a park. I thought they were so cute!! Okay, so what's new...not much, honestly. Working on wooing my muse back into my life, but she'll have none of it (fickle). Trying to get my life in order (failing). Same old thing, different day. To those of you who have a Myspace - ADD ME!! I made one for my art and want my Renderosity friends on there too. =) http://www.myspace.com/summer1412 Have a good week, hopefully I'll have a Poser creation up by the end of it. *crosses fingers* Oh, and just wanted to let everyone know - Ian (chexm1x) and his wife recently had a baby girl! So I wanted to extend my congratulations to them. That's wonderful, wonderful news. =)
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
And as of today, I've been a member of Renderosity for five years. I love this place. Thanks to everyone who has helped me along. *muah* Thanks for viewing, comments welcome as always.

A beautiful capture. I love ducks too, and have done watercolors of them a few times. ;o) Sorry your life is going that way for you, but on the other hand, you don't want too much excitement, trust me. I think ours has taken that path the last few months, and I'd rather it stop so I can be bored, and get rest!! lol!

A male duck stays with his female for life.. That became painfully clear to me driving to work some time back.. The female duck laid dead at the side of the road, probably hit by a car.. The male duck was just a few feet away from her at the side of the road in the grass, he wandered about a bit and looked so lost.. At the end of the day when I was driving home I passed them again.. She still dead of course.. He still there, just a few feet away from her.. Same next day, and the next for a whole week.. The next monday they were both gone.. I had a hard time keeping my tears in every time I passed them.. So now and then I think of that poor lost duck when I pass the spot.. I think he just died of a broken heart and starved himself to death.. Just a story your ducky-photo reminded me of.. :)
