Description
I was out cycling along the shores of Lllyn Padern, on the opposite bank to Llanberis, it was a dull and overcast day. Not the sort of weather that is generally conducive to good photos, but I had taken my camera and was determined to come back with something.
This photo was taken from a picnic area on the banks of Llyn Padern, looking towards Llanberis Pass. A high ISO led to more speckling than I would have liked to see but I think this is quite a nice scene, and worth posting.

This is the kind of weather that we pretty much always have here, so I'm very familiar with the trials and tribulations of trying to get a decent shot. Your composition is wonderful, and the gray light on the hills is very beautiful. Great work!

hard to say there is a spot in snowdonia what wouldnt give a good shot - such a great landscape! If i could choose a place to live i would go there ! Great shot here - love the mood and atmosphere.Looks like a place to relax ...just beautiful.

This is stunning. The graininess doesn't bother me at all. Gorgeous view down the lake, and the rocks in the foreground give this drama and excitement. Fantastic image!
