Description

This dedication is for MagikUnicorn and Mickeyrony, and I am so proud to do it. They are great friends and both of them asked me to make a image of them as children being happy. I know not everyone has happy childhood memories, and that is why it was important for me to do a good job for them. Mickey is a great photographer who has a passion for classic cars. Magik loves photography and also works in Bryce and Terragen. Both of them are very talented artists and the nicest men you could ever hope to meet. Mickey and Magik have made videos for my sister, my nieces and myself. Magik shares with me news of NASA and outer space and has made banners and other gifts for me. Mickey is always so kind to me and always lets me view his videos before anyone else. They have done so much for me so I wanted to create a vision of the childhood they deserved to have. Hope for smiles Street Dreams (For MagikUnicorn & Mickeyrony): In my mind I see best friends Magik and Mickey heading out for a day of fun. Both of them have new pedal cars and want to test them on the street. Mickey has a classic Chevrolet and his sister Diane and their puppy both come along. While Magik has a super cool Space Ship with huge booster rockets for extra speed. Both boys drive their pedal cars downtown to show them off. Everyone points and stares at their cool cars as they drive down the street like they were in a parade. Stopping only at the toy store for a moment and then to get ice cream for Diane. This is the childhood memory these two deserve. Thank you guys for your friendship to me. Well Dave I wasn't aware that these two fine fellas had a childhood that was not filled with some joy so it is a fine gift that you have given them. And while happiness may not have been greatly present then, I am sure that having friends who can create such gifts will give them a measure of happiness in the now... and the now is all we really have... and that is why we call it the present.

well first of all, there are still many artists I haven't visited, and you've just given me two more (though I've seen their wonderful comments all over the site...) As for your tribute, yes, once again you've captured the magic of childhood, those you dedicate this too and all of ours too. Nice modeling of the chevy, and nice modulation of the reds (through shadow, etc). Love the detailing on the ship & the whole concept of making it a ship on wheels; and the 3 kids look like they're having a great time, and your detailing on shirts, blouses, your modeling of arms, etc. is as always very sensitive & thought out. (There's even a little patch of teeth in Diane's mouth, right under her tongue...always mindful of the little things that make us human...) You know, in all the years I've listened, I've always found that people have pain in their childhoods; and sometimes it takes someone to coax out the joy that's embedded in them: You're that person, the magician who coaxes love & discovery out of all of our lives; and you make so many people grateful when you do. You even recessed the street making it like a roadway all to themselves—the ultimate childhood fantasy. (I could never leave the driveway with those things!) And it's near a toy store, one of the Meccas of childhood... Loving & caring as always, it's wonderful you share so many things with so many people, and with such magic. Another beautiful upload from you & another thankful flock of people who're always grateful...
