Description

This dedication is for MagikUnicorn and Mickeyrony, and I am so proud to do it. They are great friends and both of them asked me to make a image of them as children being happy. I know not everyone has happy childhood memories, and that is why it was important for me to do a good job for them. Mickey is a great photographer who has a passion for classic cars. Magik loves photography and also works in Bryce and Terragen. Both of them are very talented artists and the nicest men you could ever hope to meet. Mickey and Magik have made videos for my sister, my nieces and myself. Magik shares with me news of NASA and outer space and has made banners and other gifts for me. Mickey is always so kind to me and always lets me view his videos before anyone else. They have done so much for me so I wanted to create a vision of the childhood they deserved to have. Hope for smiles Street Dreams (For MagikUnicorn & Mickeyrony): In my mind I see best friends Magik and Mickey heading out for a day of fun. Both of them have new pedal cars and want to test them on the street. Mickey has a classic Chevrolet and his sister Diane and their puppy both come along. While Magik has a super cool Space Ship with huge booster rockets for extra speed. Both boys drive their pedal cars downtown to show them off. Everyone points and stares at their cool cars as they drive down the street like they were in a parade. Stopping only at the toy store for a moment and then to get ice cream for Diane. This is the childhood memory these two deserve. Thank you guys for your friendship to me. too cool. I've seen mickeyrony from time to time through the years... not familiar with his art - He can thank you for me running over to his gallery after this. MagikUnicorn is one of my favorites. He's always making videos and I always wondered if he chose a few of my pictures which ones would he choose??? He put a couple of my pictures in a video a week ago. It was interesting to see the two pictures he chose. As far as this picture, I could definately see Magik driving the rocket car - his last couple uploads were of outter space.... I love the picture... but... I have one question... ...Do you actually think Magik was blonde when he was a kid??? and wheres his glasses??? LOL YOU HAVE BEEN FAVORITIZED!!!

Dave, this is absolutely fantastic. I hope they love it as much as I do. You bring back a memory for me as a small child. We where very poor growing up but my father had purchased a push peddle jeep for my brothers and I. Oh my we loved that little car and oh boy where there fights over who got to drive it. Thanks Dave, it is one of my fondest memories of my childhood. Great job.

I love how you have created this fictional 'memory' that soooo represents the best of both your friends. LOVE that space car. Too cute for words. Love the pose and expression of the kid represented by "Magik" - it's like he's saying "There ain't no way your old car is gonna beat my car". On the other hand, I have to say that the old Chevy is waaaaaay cool. You must have had a lot of fun fitting the two kids AND the dog into that car. Love their expressions and that the dog has his paw on the 'Mickeyrony' character. Looks like Mickeyrony is laughing as if to say "Ha, you just think your car is better - this classic will leave yours in the dust!" And what's the significance of the yellow Corvette in the background? Does that belong to the lovely ladies who are pointing to the boys? OR is this YOUR dream car?:) As always, loads of detail to look at (otherwise I wouldn't have this much to write!) and wonderfully vibrant colors. Love your dedication too. Really well done!
