another nice birthday gift for Piet. (Like I said in Tara's gallery, I'm gonna take up photography just for the birthdays!) The combo is fun & also funny, your usual fine humor. Yet I also feel these could stand on their own. The light is quite bright and sunny-feeling, even though the light is diffuse; the top-right corner is an interesting capture, with the counterpoint of the 2 heads and that twined branch. And I like the lower one eating off (or kissing?) that big boulder. The shots have a life of their own. A fun and sunny gift for Piet, and the bleached-beige hues of the wood in the left shot are perfect foils for the giraffe's orangish color...nice shots, Lynell.
