Description
The eulogy at my grandad's funeral retold one of my favourite anecdotes about him. How, as a pupil at Manchester Grammar School, he nipped onto the roof and hauled a red flag up the pole. This portrayal uses rather a lot of artistic license. I'm sure grandad would never have pumped the air bellowing even when a boy; I think the outrage was actually committed at night. And he probably flew a standard red flag rather than the USSR one. But it hopefully captures the rebellious streak which he never quite lost throughout his life

A few years ago with the collapse of the Soviet Union no one really believed in Communism anymore. With the current problems people may stop believing in capitalism also! If things dont get fixed and you have large numbers of unemployed maybe fascism will make a comeback. This is a great time for anyone with a new ideology.
