Description

lol I mix up on which end of the lake this is. I can take you there in a heart beat. Oh well. do not ask me to tell you how to get some where with out a map. I tell you to pass a church go under the I-10 brige there and take the first left. Then go to a T . that is where a stop sign is and turn left. house looking for is on the left not sure if it the corner house or the next house. if there a big deck out truck in front of the house that be it. please do not go there. It in the hood and I know whites is not welcome in the hood. I say this to show how I tell people how to get to some place. Wonder why they get lost. Anyway this shot was on 11/26/08 at Lake Matin. thanks for looking and comments. i be hind on comments sorry

Love your directions, Jocko! Great picture, I always like the edges of a lake! there's always something different about it, especially the ends of them, where it is so quiet!

Yes. Where land gives way to water is always the interesting part of a lake.

Yup, I could follow those directions just fine. Its people who say turn east or to the south or take (names a street) off the so-and-so highway. I'm better off it I turn at the streetlight after the red mailbox... :-) Great shot! Love the look through the trees and the colors are so reflective of winter.

Ha Ha, I could follow those directions just fine! They make total sense to me. But I have the same problem GIVING directions, no one understands them! I hate those technical directions, you know, go two and a quarter miles north on Blah-Blah St, turn east at the intersection and proceed eight and one tenth one mils .. HUH??? Give me landmarks I can look for. Awesome shot Jock, I love how the sun is high enough to light the trees in the background, love how the cypress knees (I think) and the growth from them looks frosted, just gorgeous!

Whites not welcome in the hood? That's not very hospitable. Where do they think they are, south central Los Angeles? Even with your directions, I'd probably get lost around there, anyway. Tons of foliage most obvious in this cool capture, Jock.
