Description
This is for my friend and mentor Liz (Zil2008). Even though facing some difficult times Liz found it in her heart to gift me the beautifully wicked Shiloh by Gypsyangel as a celebratory gift for completing the Ishtar in the Underworld series. Liz has given me much patient and special instruction on post rendering techniques and many of the subtle special affects that I now use were taught to me by her. She is a very special friend who always reaches out to people and is blessed with a generous heart. So please drop by her gallery and take a look at her delightful works. A few people have asked about Belili and have requested stories about Ereshkigal. A full story about Ereshkigal finding love in the darklands will follow after the next Ishtar adventure. But in the meantime here is the first of a very short sequel about Belili's arrival in the darklands. I have always wondered why Belili is thought of as a dark Goddess when clearly in her one known surviving role she was a light worker? This sequel gives me a chance to explore an answer to that question. It is pure conjecture as very little about Belili has survived the ravages of time.
Since all the other Ishtar characters got upgrades I thought the wickedly beautiful Ereshkigal deserved one too. This is Shiloh as Ereshkigal.
Ereshkigal waits to see who her sister Ishtar has chosen to come back to the darklands. As she waits these words come to her mind:
I look across my barren lands
I shade my eyes with my hands
Who will come to my domain?
Whose soul shall here remain?
Has my sister chosen right?
Whose soul will I keep tonight?
Though my home be dark as pitch
I am not an evil bitch
All I asked was justice done
To balance battles fought and won
Here they shall forever rest
Forever more they will be my guest

Fantastic job on her Roxy. When I saw her I knew right away she would fit in with your characters. I kind of thought you would make her into Ereshkigal. She looks great.

Once again an outstanding piece of work! As before I know nothing about this character, but I am looking forward to your teachings. You are an outstanding story teller and would have been sought out in ancient times for your skills. I can see this as your calling, to spread the word of lost knowledge and ancient Gods and Goddesses to the world that is full of instant gratifications afforded it by the internet and TV. I for one am looking forward to hearing the next story and now that I know about it the story after that and the one after that and after that... Well I guess you get the point LOL
